Scholarships and Grants

Hiram College scholarships recognize academic achievement and help students and families who deserve a private college education during a time of economic uncertainty. Our new scholarship program recognizes academic achievement and hard work based upon GPA and standardized test scores, and is blind to financial need.

How to Apply for Scholarships and Financial Aid

  • In most cases all that is required to receive a merit-based award is to apply and be offered admission to Hiram College.
  • Complete financial packages are available in the spring after families file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • You may file the FAFSA for Fall 2013 anytime after January 1, 2014.  We recommend that you complete your FAFSA by February 15, 2014.
  • If you successfully submit your FAFSA by February 15, 2014 you should expect to receive a financial package sometime in early March.
  • Hiram's FAFSA code is 003049.  Use this code to send your information to Hiram.

Tuition and Finances: Planning Information

  • Hiram College offers our distinctive Tuition Guarantee. For two consecutive years, Hiram College trustees have frozen tuition at the following levels:

  • A student's state and federal aid and loan package may vary depending on family circumstances.  State and federal financial aid and loans are not reflected in the average figures above.
