Alumni Resources

Fourteen years into my teaching career I decided that it was time for a transition. The amount of support and guidance that I received and continue to receive from the Career Center is priceless. Without it, navigating the job market would have seemed an impossible feat.

Welcome to the career resources for Hiram College alumni. I have tried to anticipate some of your questions below. Please get in touch with the staff in the Career Center if we have not answered your career questions.

Looking for a job?

To access our job bulletin, you must first register with Hiram CareerNet, our online resume and job posting database.  Just click on "I'm a New User", choose Alum and create a profile.  However, most of the jobs we receive are entry-level positions. If you are looking for a position that is NOT entry- level, our postings may not be the best job search method. Try some of the other links under Fulltime Jobs or contact the Career Center for suggestions for additional resources

Need career advice?

The Career Center welcomes the opportunity to help you with your career transition. If you want to brainstorm career ideas, review your transferable skills, or talk about your goals, we can help. However, depending on your career situation, you may need more specialized resources. We may need to refer you to additional services or suggest other job search strategies.

Considering Grad School?

Links to grad school testing, test prep information, and grad school directories are available on the menu at the left.  Please call or email if you need additional information. Your transcript is available through the Registrar's office website.

Alumni directory

PLEASE keep your personal and employment information current in the Alumni Directory (this is the database maintained by the Alumni Office). This is the only way we have to locate you if we have information to share or want to connect you with a current student who needs your help.  Thanks for all your support.
