Research Employers
Once you have an idea of the type of employer that interests you, you can use that information to find others.
Professional associations are a great place to start. Examples include:
- Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs)
- Public Relations Society of America
- Ohio Historic Sites
- American Public Gardens
- American Zoological Association
Some of these associations post jobs; others have member lists where you can connect to look for jobs.
If you have a geographical location in mind, use that idea to search. For example, find:
I’ve been able to be involved in really cool things such as: chairing the committee to put together prizes and gift baskets for a golf outing, working at Browns training camp, shadowing game reporters. I’ve been in a couple commercials along with a few other cool outings.
