Paul Dreisbach is adjunct instructor of woodwind instruments at Hiram College. He received a B.A. from Hiram and an M.M. in woodwinds from The Ohio State University. He did further graduate work in bassoon performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studied with George Goslee, principal bassoonist of the Cleveland Orchestra. His playing experience includes the University Circle Orchestra, Cleveland Ballet Orchestra, Akron and Youngstown Symphonies and Chagrin Valley Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Dreisbach studied early music at the Oberlin Baroque Performance Institute and the Aston Magna Foundation Institute at Bard College and has been a freelance musician on both modern and Baroque instruments in northeast Ohio for over thirty years. He also plays in the swing band The Garrettones and in Top o' the Hill, Hiram's traditional Irish ensemble.
