Pinning Ceremony
The Department of Nursing will host a ceremonial pinning for the BSN Class of 2013 on Saturday, May 11. The hour long event begins at 9:00 a.m. with location at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Road, Hiram, Ohio. All guests are welcome.
Baccalaureate
The religious service for the graduating class and their guests will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Road, Hiram, Ohio. This year's key note speaker will be Rev. Dr. William Edwards '79, Regional Pastor and President of the Christian Church in Ohio. If you would like to attend Baccalaureate, tickets will NOT be necessary.
Brunch reception
The brunch reception will be held starting at 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Hiram College Dining Hall. Students and their guests are invited to attend and visit with faculty, staff, and friends prior to the Commencement ceremony. Tickets are required. Family Activities & Book Store Open House
Come join the fun activities before and after you attend the brunch. Stop by the Book Store for Hiram College items that students will enjoy and have to reminisce about their days spent 'on the hill'. More information coming about the activities.
Class Picture
All graduating students need to be at the Bates Hall steps by 12:15 p.m. to be a part of the class pictures.
Military Commissioning Ceremony
There will be a military commissioning ceremony on the Campus Green behind Hinsdale Hall recognizing Robert Bailie who is being commissioned after completing a joint program with John Carroll and Hiram College.
Student Line up
All graduating students MUST be at Martin Field House no later than 1:15 p.m. for line up or risk not marching.
Commencement exercises
Saturday, May 11, 2:00 p.m., location at Charles A. Henry Field, rain or shine. A live simulcast of the ceremony will also be shown in Price Gym. The commencement address speaker is James Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Tickets are NOT required for the commencement exercises.
Since the ceremony will be outside, please come prepared with raincoats and proper head apparel just in case. Please be aware that umbrellas will not be permitted to prevent obstruction of anyone’s view.

Post-commencement reception
The Commencement recessional will lead faculty, graduates, and their families to Martin Field House for light refreshments.
