Hiram Hosted the EEC's 2013 Entrepreneurship Immersion Week

Hiram's Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship hosted the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium's Entrepreneurship Immersion Week (EIW), a program recognized nationally for its innovation in teaching entrepreneurship. Forty-six students attended academic sessions and participated in breakout sessions to explore business ideas, innovation, creativity, and networking. Each team also spent the week developing a business concept that they then presented to a panel of judges at the end of the week. The winning teams were: Ashland University, Kent State and John Carroll, respectively.

While Hiram did not finish in the top three, they still had a great experience and learned a little of what it takes to develop and idea and be an entrepreneur. Representing Hiram at EIW2013 were: Bhavneet Kala '14, Ryan Kuhar '13, Kaitlin Ruszkowski '14, Elle Rochford '14 and Shane Young '14.
