Hiram LAP - Leadership Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Hiram College's Leadership Application Process, more commonly referred to as LAP.  We encourage both new and seasoned leaders to apply for any of the offered positions and look forward to welcoming you aboard. 

The 2012-2013 LAP is now open! We’re issuing an APB for all students interested in joining our fantastic force of student leaders to serve our campus community for the 2012-2013 academic year! 

How to Apply

Download the Leadership Application Process (LAP) information Packet. Please read the application instructions carefully along with the position descriptions to determine that you are willing to commit the time and energy to the position(s). Also check to make sure you meet the minimum qualifications for that position(s).

After you have reviewed the packet and are ready to apply, apply using the online LAP application form to electronically submit your application and resume. Do not fill out the application until you are ready to apply with a resume and two names that will serve as your references.

 2012-2013 LAP Positions Include:

LAP Dates to Remember!

  • Wednesday, January 9, 2013 - Leadership Fair...  By attending this event, you will be able to meet the supervisors for each LAP position and ask them specific questions.
  • Wednesday, January 16, 2013 - Resume ER @ 10:00pm (KC Main Lounge)...  A resume must be submitted for LAP consideration.  Need help putting yours together, or want to have it reviewed, here's your chance!
  • Monday, January 21, 2013 – Friday, January 25, 2013 – Online Signups open for individual interviews...  Be sure to sign-up for your individual interview time slot with the appropriate potential supervisor!
  • LAP APPLICATIONS AND ONLINE RECOMMENDATION FORMS ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23 BY 4PM
  • Tuesday, January 29, 2013, through Friday, February 8, 2013 - Individual Interviews...  Here's your time to shine!  Be sure you're prepared and professional!
  • Sunday, February 10, 2013 - (DATE UPDATED) Mandatory Group Process Interviews  from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm... Congratulations for being invited to participate in the Group Process!  This is based on supervisor selection from the Individual Interview round and is by invitation only.  Please keep this date open!!
  • Friday, March 1, 2013 - Decision Announcement Distribution Day
